Das GESINUS-Treffen 2017 in Zürich rückt näher! Verlinkt findet ihr das Programm für die zwei Tage sowie einen Plan des ETH-Campus ‚Hönggerberg‘. Bitte beachtet für die Anreise, dass es einen zweiten ETH Campus ‚Zentrum‘ gibt.

Das Treffen findet im Gebäude HIA statt. Auf dem Anfahrtsplan ist der Fussweg von der Bushaltestelle ‚ETH Hönggerberg‘ grün eingezeichnet. Die Parkhäuser sind rot markiert.

Für PWs: Die Parktarife an der ETH Hönggerberg sind ziemlich hoch, CHF 2.00/h von 07:00-17:00 Uhr und CHF 1.50/h von 17:00-07:00 Uhr. Die Verfügbarkeit der Parkplätze sollte allerdings kein Problem sein.

Für ÖV-Benutzer: Online-Fahrpläne gibt es auf https://www.sbb.ch/home.html oder auf http://www.zvv.ch/zvv/de/home.html. Da wir am Mittwochabend gemeinsam zum Abendessen in die Stadt fahren, empfiehlt es sich, einen Tagespass für 1-2 Zonen zu kaufen. Dieser kostet ohne Halbtax-Abo CHF 8.80 und berechtigt zu unbeschränkten Fahrten mit Bus, Tram und S-Bahn in der Stadtzone 110 (Zonenplan siehe ZVV-Homepage) während 24 h. Ein Einzelticket mit einer Stunde Gültigkeit kostet CHF 4.40.

Dear Gesians

The GESINUS 2017 in Zurich is coming closer! Here you find the program of the meeting and a plan of the ETH-campus ‘Hönggerberg’. When planning your travels, please note that there is a second ETH campus called ‘Zentrum’.

The meeting will take place in the building HIA. The walk from the bus stop ‘ETH Hönggerberg’ to HIA is marked in green on the attached plan. Parking is marked in red.

Cars: Parking at ETH is quite expensive, CHF 2.00/h from 07:00-17:00 and CHF 1.50/h from 17:00-07:00. The availability of parking spaces should not be a problem.

Public transport: Online timetables are available at https://www.sbb.ch/home.html or at http://www.zvv.ch/zvv/de/home.html. On Wednesday evening, we will take public transport into the city for dinner and we therefore recommend that you buy a day pass for 1-2 zones. Without a half-fare travelcard it will cost CHF 8.80 and allows you to take any bus, tram or S-train within the city zone 110 (zones see ZVV homepage) for 24 h. A single ticket for only 1 h will cost CHF 4.40.
